Start Building Your Resume!

Introducing Mango Languages!  Mango's unique teaching method quickly engages you in real conversations between two native speakers. Your instructor will take you through every step of the process! Each lesson revisits previously learned material, but you have complete control over your learning experience.  Languages offered include:  Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, Spanish, ESL Brazilian, ESL Polish,  and ESL Spanish.  You must access Mango through the library's website for authentication.  Please make sure your Mango screen shows Mason Public Library in the upper righthand corner.  If you wish to create a learning profile you will need to enter your library card barcode number (with no spaces).   Click here to get started!

Join our Book Clubs. Each day we'll email you a 5-minute portion of a book. During the week you can read 2-3 chapters and decide if you want to check the book out of the library. Every Monday we start new books. Sign up and start reading.

We now offer downloadable audio books, ebooks, music and videos.  Please visit the Ohio eBook Project and login using your Mason Public Library card.  Choose Mason Public Library from the drop down selection list then type in your barcode number and your pin number and you are set! (Due to Digital Rights Management issues, OverDrive Audio Books, Music and Video are not compatible with the Macintosh operating system or iPod players. Mobipocket eBooks are not compatible with the Macintosh operating system but can be used on Windows PCs and a range of portable devices.)

What is a playaway?  It is a self-contained audio book that fits in the palm of your hand!  All you need is a pair of headphones and you are ready to listen.  Come in and check out our collection of new Playaways.  Fiction and Nonfiction titles are available.

If you have a wireless enabled laptop or PDA, you can stay connected at the library. Access is free--all you need is your Mason Public Library card. To connect to the service, locate the MPL wireless network (MPL-g), open your web browser, provide your library card (barcode) number, and pin number (set up when you received your library card).

While using the wireless network, your laptop or PDA will not print to a library printer. Please be advised, wireless access in the meeting rooms may not be as strong as on the main floor of the library and this service will only be available during the library's operating hours.
